Dr Khairul Aidil Azlin received a BA in Art & Design (Industrial Design), UiTM Malaysia, in 1987, MA Industrial Design (Engineering) UK in 1990 and Doctor of Engineering (Design Management), Chiba University, Japan. At present, he heads the Design Technology Programme in the Faculty of Applied and Creative Arts, UNIMAS.

Also a design consultant and winner of several design awards, Dr Khairul has published his works in local and international journals. At local and international exhibitions, he has presented his sculpture, painting and experimental electronic art works. His principle areas of research are design management, industrial design and future arts.
